I don't really have plans to keep this blog going, because of other classes and band. It was fun to keep a blog with my reflections and photos of the year, but I won't have to keep up with it after journalism is over.

My life at Flower Mound high school ninth grade campus is amazing for so many reasons. I am a member of the FMHS marching band, and my time in the band has been the best decision I’ve made so far. I practice my instrument every day to prepare myself for my auditions and competitions next year. Band has taught me how to be more independent, manage my time, be a leader, and how to push myself to do my best at all times. Additionally, band has added a bunch of amazing people to my life. To conclude, my life at FM9 is highly rewarding, and band has made my life infinitely better.
I am thankful for all of my friends in school and in band. Ive met most of my friends in band or through other friends, and I am thankful to have met all of them. My friends make school so much better, and class is always a blast with them. I learned many things in journalism, for example, you have to offer balance in your work. There is always another side to the story, and you have to show it. This helps me in real life when I'm writing in class, because it reminds me to show both sides of the story and to be unbiased when giving advice.
